FAQ

We require appointments for bridal gown and bridesmaid shopping to ensure that each bride receives the service and attention she deserves.  We want every person in the bridal party to have the best experience imaginable. If you shop without and appointment and a stylist is available we will absolutely help you find your dress! However, if all stylists are assisting pre-booked appointments, you may be asked to schedule an appointment and return when a stylist is available. Prom dress shopping is walk in only. No appointment is needed for prom dress shopping.

We believe finding your dream wedding dress shouldn't be rushed. We schedule 2 hour appointments so you have ample amount of time to say 'Yes' to your dress and have time for celebration pictures.

We have large bridal suites that offer intimate viewing areas that seat 3-4 guests comfortably. We can add chairs to accommodate groups up to 6. Larger groups can make your experience distracting and more stressful. Choose people who are most important in your life and who will offer the most honest opinions. But keep in mind, that in the end, the only opinion that truly counts is yours when saying 'Yes' to the dress.

Our bridal gown samples range from size 6 to 28. We carry a large amount of plus size dresses due to popular demand. Our bridesmaid samples are mostly sized 8-16. We do not get to choose our sample sizes for bridesmaid dresses. The companies send out what they feel is needed. Our prom dress sizes range from 00-28.

You can find a wedding gown on clearance for as low as $250. Our current wedding gowns range from $700 to $2999 with the average price between $999 and $1400. Bridesmaids range from $139 to $269. You will always receive a discount off your bridesmaids dresses if you purchase your wedding gown with us. Prom dresses that are avaliable in our store range from $199 to $799. We do special order dresses in all price ranges.

We like to say that proactive brides are the happy brides and the sooner you find your dress, the better. Most brides purchase their gown 9-12 months prior to their wedding so they have time for alterations and time to make any changes, should any unforeseen issues arise. Realistically, if you are 6-9 months out it is still possible to order in time but some companies may charge a rush fee.

We recommend ordering your bridesmaids no later than 6 months from your wedding date. Due to the fact they take 4 months to arrive once we order them. Seamstresses will take around a month to alter your dress and you will want to have your dress back in time for last minute accessorizing.

Most bridal and bridesmaid companies base their sizing charts off the 1940's scale, back when Marilyn Monroe was a size 16, so don't be shocked of you find out that your dress size is a 1 or 2 sizes above what you normally wear. The first step to finding the best size for you is to take your measurements and compare them to the designers size chart. If your measurements put you between sizes, we may want to try on some dresses, if possible, to determine the best fit.

No! Waiting until you lose weight often adds expensive rush fees and unnecessary stress to the wedding shopping experience. Aside from the risk of having to rush order your dress, waiting until the last minute to go dress shopping will limit your options. You may be limited to 'off the rack' dresses only and not have the option to special order a dress in the correct size.

Absolutely! We believe every bride deserves the gown of her dreams, but we don't want anyone to go hungry to pay for it. For off the rack or sample gowns and dresses, we offer a layaway plan that requires a smaller deposit. The deposit depends on the price of the gown. After the deposit is paid the balance of the dress will be due within 6 months. For special orders we require a half down payment and then the second half of your balance due when the gown arrives. Prom Layaway is also avaliable. Only $100 down is needed to put a prom dress on layaway.

We have an in-house seamstress in our Fargo location available between 11 am and 7 pm. Our stylists are knowledgeable in minor alterations but leave the act of physically doing the work to professionals. If you purchase your gown here we will steam your dress free of charge after the alterations are made. Just bring your dress back within 2 days of the event.

While most people say that it's very important for all the men in a wedding party to wear matching tuxedos or suits, some brides prefer to have their groom stand out in a different look. However, most brides prefer to have the entire wedding party (fathers included) in matching tuxedos or suits and have the groom wear different colored accessories (vest and/or tie), usually ivory or white. Brides often have their fathers and ushers wear a colored vest and/or tie that's different from the groomsmen's to distinguish their roles in the wedding. Fathers often wear neutral colors (charcoal, silver, black, etc.) or a color to accent the mother's dress.

Any member of the wedding party can stop into any tuxedo rental store or most bridal boutiques to get properly measured for their tuxedo or suit. Then, you can call, email, or fax their information to LeeAnne's Bridal. Some boutiques charge an out-of store-measurement fee, typically $5 to $10. For out-of-store measurements, we need the following measurements: Neck, over arm, chest, waist, out seam, arm length, shoe size, jacket size, hip, height, and weight. (Most stores won't measure your height and weight, but we always use them to double check all measurements. If it wasn't included in their measurements, please add it to the list. Like most men's formal wear boutiques, we're not responsible for incorrect measurements from different locations. Should replacement pieces be needed, customers with out-of-store measurements will be required to pay for their own shipping and handling.

A good rule of thumb is to have all the men you want in your wedding photos to wear tuxedos or suits. Obviously, the groom and his attendants including groomsmen, ushers, and ring bearers should be in tuxedos or suits, but you should also consider other family members including fathers, brothers, and grandfathers.

We recommend that you do not measure yourself! Tuxedo and suit measurements are precise measurements that are not the same as your jean size or typical measurement. By getting your measurements taken professionally, you can often avoid receiving an ill-fitting tuxedo and having to get replacement pieces or alterations.

LeeAnne's Bridal has formal wear specialists who are trained for onsite alterations such as adjusting the sleeve or trouser length. In the event that an item needs to be re-ordered, LeeAnne's Bridal will do everything possible to arrange for the item to arrive in the store for the event. If you try on and pick up your tuxedo or suit by 4:00pm on Thursday, it will ensure enough time for replacement pieces to arrive if needed.
